Paddle Canada Level 2 Instructor Course | Port Renfrew, BC

Take the next step in your paddling journey and develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence to become a Paddle Canada Level 2 Sea Kayak Instructor.

Hosted by Champion Adventures & Coaching in the rugged coastal community of Port Renfrew, Vancouver Island, this course is designed for experienced paddlers ready to progress into instructional leadership and share their passion for sea kayaking with others.

Throughout the course, you’ll develop your teaching and leadership skills, refine your personal paddling abilities, and explore the foundations of delivering engaging, effective, and safe paddling instruction. You’ll work on lesson planning, group management, decision-making, risk management, and the practical application of Paddle Canada’s instructional standards.

Set against the wild beauty of Vancouver Island’s west coast, Port Renfrew offers a spectacular setting to learn, challenge yourself, and connect with other passionate paddlers.

Certification: Paddle Canada Level 2 Sea Kayak Instructor (subject to meeting all course and certification requirements)

Prerequisites: Participants must meet Paddle Canada’s current Level 2 Instructor Course prerequisites. Please ensure you meet the required certifications, experience, and skills before registering.

Please note: Successful completion of the course and certification are subject to assessment against Paddle Canada’s current instructor standards.
