Refund & Cancellation Policy
Multi-Day Sea Kayak Programs
We understand that plans sometimes change, and we aim to balance fairness to our participants with the logistical needs of running safe, high-quality kayak trips. Please review our refund and cancellation policy below.
1. Participant Cancellations
More than 95 days before program start
A full refund will be issued, minus a processing fee of 5%.46–95 days before program start
A 50% refund will be issued.45 days or fewer before program start
No refund will be issued.
Note: In all cases, participants may request to transfer their spot to another eligible participant at no additional cost.
2. Transfers & Credits
Participants may request to transfer to another program (if space allows) up to 45 days before the original program start.
Credits issued must be used within that season.
3. Minimum Enrollment & Program Viability
Programs require a minimum number of participants to run.
If minimum enrollment is not met, we will notify participants at least 7 days in advance and issue a full refund or credit, whichever the participant prefers.
4. Weather, Safety & Instructor Decisions
Programs run rain or shine.
If conditions are deemed unsafe by our instructors (e.g., extreme winds, lightning, or other hazards), we reserve the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel the program.
If the program is canceled due to safety concerns and cannot be rescheduled, participants will receive a full refund or credit.
5. No-Shows
Participants who do not attend without prior notice will forfeit the full program fee.
6. Travel & Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing trip cancellation/travel insurance, especially for participants traveling long distances.
We are not responsible for costs associated with travel, accommodation, or other personal expenses in the event of program cancellation.
7. Acknowledgment
By registering for a program, participants acknowledge and agree to this refund and cancellation policy.
