World Surf Competition in Scotland

I'm working toward an incredible opportunity: traveling to Scotland to compete at the World Surf Kayak Championships and represent Canada on the international stage in September 2027.  Getting there takes more than dedication in the water. Training, travel, accommodation, competition expenses, and transporting equipment all come with significant costs. I'm looking for some financial help.

A Passion Built on the Water

Although I am still very new to the sport I have been fortunate to have attend the last few Hobuck Hoedowns as well as two years at Santa Cruz Paddlefest. These competitions are as much about surfing great breaks as they are about the community.  I've experienced the skill, camaraderie, and competitive spirit that make this sport so special and have been drawn more towards it.

These events bring paddlers together to challenge themselves in demanding surf, learn from one another, and celebrate a shared passion for the ocean. Competing at the world level is an opportunity to take that experience further, test myself against outstanding athletes from around the globe, and proudly represent my Canadian paddling community.

For me, this is about more than a single competition. It's about pursuing a goal that takes commitment, preparation, resilience, and a willingness to keep pushing beyond familiar limits. The 2027 competition is being held in Scotland which takes a large financial commitment as well as time away during my busy season. If you are someone who is willing to help in my journey please follow the link to my GoFundMe.
